Scarring from acne, surgery, injury

Scars are a result of the body going into overdrive when attempting to heal a wound or damage you’ve sustained to your skin. In its haste to heal and prevent reopening of the wound, the skin can grow back hard, rough and thick.

Laser procedures can reduce scarring by creating tiny micro-incisions in and around the scar tissue and kick-starting the healing process over again, causing the affected area to heal correctly and thus minimising your scarring.

Laser procedures have been successful in managing a variety of types of scars including those left by acne and surgical scarring.
